Julie Ellison is a Southeast-based photographer and filmmaker known for her ability to capture the fleeting moments, natural beauty, and ephemeral light of the outdoor lifestyle. With a focus on sustainability, adventure, agriculture, and travel, Julie’s muse in photography has always been the intimate connection between humans and nature.

Her imagery can be described as authentic, timeless, and a bit rough around the edges (in a good way). Thanks to 15 years of experience, Julie relies on preparation, communication, and collaboration to make the most of every shoot, and problem solving is her favorite part of the creative process. She knows how to take big projects from concept to reality, and having fun is a priority.
