Traci Terrick founded Poppy Creative after 20+ years in commercial photography and production — representing artists, running shoots, and watching the industry change in ways the traditional agency model never quite kept up with.
That gap is what Poppy was built to fill. Not just connecting talent with brands, but doing it with transparency, longevity, and genuine investment in the people doing the work.
In 2018 she launched Artist to Watch, a six-month coaching program for photographers and stylists ready to build sustainable commercial careers. What started as a mentorship initiative ended up reshaping how she thinks about representation entirely. Ten+ cohorts later, it's still running.
That same year she co-founded Focus on Women, a national community for female-identifying creatives in commercial photography — because the industry works better when more people have a seat at the table.
